Most of the people who consume large amount of energy drinks everyday do not know the hidden part of these popular drinks. Energy drinks main objective is to amplify our very worn-out body. Amplifying our body unnaturally could damage the two most important parts of our body, the heart and the brain. Energy drinks like Red Bull, Monster, Five Stars, Five Hour shot, and Gatorade, are contained  a very high amount of caffeine that can cause malfunctioning of the two body parts. Most scientists found out that, “caffeine can cause heart failure and brain damage” (Mayo Clinic Staff). Caffeine can stimulate one of our brain receptor and can create a lot of epinephrine or adrenaline in our brain that provide long “sugar rush” in our body. Once epinephrine is stimulated our body will experience the energy boost. This high energy can increase our heart rate. Unexpected increase of our heart rate can lead to hypertension. You don’t want to have hypertension in really young age!
